Moto-Build Ltd, Egham, Surrey carried out restoration to LTU 274G during 2017. Invoices on file for the work carried out total £13,038.64. Highlights of the work carried out include : New large bore radiator, Clutch master and slave cylinders, Wooden steering wheel, Fast road distributor, Water pump, Headlights, Rear springs, Rear brake shoes, SS Twin exhaust fron pipes, Fuel tank, Fuel pump, Battery, Rear and front chrome bumpers and overriders, Front chrome grille, Chrome wire wheels, Seat belts and wing mirrors, Lock sets, New windscreen seals, New leather interior.

 

Robin A. Cowing, Market Drayton, Shropshire carried out Engine and Gearbox rebuild during 2018. Invoices on file for the work carried out total £4,712.55
Highlights of the work carried out include : Rebore and skim the block, Fit new pistons (+.020), Lighten and reface the flywheel, Balance the crank and clutch assembly, Overhaul and rebuild the gearbox, Refurbish the cylinder head with new valves, guides, springs and rework the valves and seats to drive on unleaded fuel, Set main and thrust bearings, fit new timing chain and tensioner, All gaskets, seals and filters replaced when reassembling the engine and gearbox.

 

The car was last sold in 2019 for €24,000 with recorded mileage being 4,254. Here is a list of some of the additional work carried out by the last owner since the acquisition of the car :

- Running in of engine and gearbox following rebuild for 500 miles. Car serviced at 4,550 miles.
- Underside of the car inspected and no problems identified
- June 2019, Top steering bush replaced, Heater air intake replaced
- June 2019, Bonnet removed to paint the underside, stripped down to bare metal, applying a primer of rust resisting paint and 2 coats of matt black heat resistant paint

Included in the car's history file are photographs documenting the car undergoing a back-to-bare-metal re-spray (pictured). While there is no specific date or reference indicating when this bodywork was carried out, we estimate it occurred within the last decade.
